Hot Tub and Spa Removal
A dead spa in the yard is a quarter-load with a path problem. We drain remaining water, break down if the gate is too tight, and haul the shell.
Send a photo of the tub, the side-yard gate, and the slope. That is the quote. We do not disconnect hard-wired electrical — a licensed electrician should kill the circuit first. Soft-sided inflatable spas are a different, cheaper job.
Most hot tub jobs are decided by the path, not the tub. A spa that sat on a deck, a pad, or a patio has to travel through a gate, down steps, or around a corner before it reaches the truck. When the shell will not fit, we cut it down on site so it can be carried out in pieces. Tell us if the tub is on a deck or a slab, how wide the gate is, and whether there are steps.
The usual order is simple. You text photos and your zip, we send a range and a window, and on site we confirm the number before anything moves. The crew drains any remaining water, breaks the tub down if the access is tight, hauls the shell and cabinet, and sweeps the area when it is clear. Heavy loads can carry extra dump fees, and that is part of the number we lock before loading.
Before we arrive, the electrical has to be off and disconnected by a licensed electrician, and the tub should be as empty as you can get it. Household hazardous waste, such as fuels, solvents, or wet paint stored near the tub, is not part of the load. If you are not sure about something, text a picture.

Questions
Do I have to empty the tub?+–
Get it as empty as you can. Standing water we have to pump or bail adds time.
Do you disconnect the electrical?+–
No. Hard-wired electrical should be shut off and disconnected by a licensed electrician before we arrive. We handle the tub once it is safe to move.
Can you remove a hot tub that sits on a deck or has a narrow gate?+–
Often yes. We quote deck and tight-access jobs from photos, and we cut the tub down on site when it will not fit through the gate whole. Send photos of the tub, the gate, the steps, and the slope.
Do you take inflatable or soft-sided spas?+–
Yes. Those are a different, cheaper job than a hard-shell tub. Text a photo and your zip.
Do you haul away the shell and the cabinet?+–
Yes. Shell and cabinet haul-away is part of the job. If steps, covers, or other pieces are staged near the tub, include them in your photos so the quote is accurate.
